Camp Ailihpomeh

Camp Ailihpomeh has been serving male campers diagnosed with Hemophililafor the past three decades. Boys ages 7-14 with Hemophilia throughout Texas come together in mid-July to learn about caring for their bleeding disorder such as by learning how to infuse and receiving medical education during camp week. Camp Ailihpomeh is a cooperative effort of the Texas Bleeding Disorders Camp Foundation, Lone Star of the NHF, Texas Central Hemophilia Association and the six Hemophilia Treatment Centers in Texas.

Camp Esperanza

Camp Esperanza is a unique summer camp experience for children between the ages of 6 and 15 who currently have cancer or have been treated for cancer at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. “Esperanza” – the Spanish word for “Hope” – is what Camp Esperanza is all about.

Camp Joint Adventure

Camp Joint Adventure (CJA), sponsored by Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, is a camp for patients served at TSRHC between the ages of 7 - 15 who have arthrogryposis, specific limb differences and a variety of rheumatic conditions. The goals of camp are to foster independence, self-confidence, a positive attitude, develop and improve communication and problem solving skills in an enjoyable “can do” setting.

Camp Reynal

Camp Reynal was started in 1992 by dedicated volunteers, parents and healthcare professionals, all of whom shared the common goal to create an exciting, challenging, encouraging, supportive, safe and healthy environment for children with renal and urology disease, and to foster fun, growth, exploration, discovery, friendship, self-esteem and independence.

Camp I-Thonka-Chi

Camp I-Thonka-Chi serves youth who have been hospitalized with burn injuries ages 6-18- years of age.

Camp TLC

Camp TLC serves campers age 8-15 with Spina Bifida and congenital neural tube defects. The Spina Bifida Association of North Texas partners with Texas Scottish Rite Hospital to provide this week long experience in June.

MDA Camp

Who Can Attend MDA Camp? Any child with a neuromuscular disease between the ages of 6-17. We accept campers on a first come first serve basis. MDA camp enables campers to stretch their comfort zones and grow in independence as they spend a week away from home; permit someone other than their parents to provide personal care; and make new friends.
