TLC Hispanic Family Camp

SBANT Family Hispanic Camp serves Spanish speaking families and families who identify with Latin heritage with a child with Spina Bifida or other neural tube defects. Entire families attend educational sessions in Spanish which talk not only about Spina Bifida related issues, but about issues specific to the Hispanic community.

Camp SOAR (Some Organ Assembly Required) is a weekend retreat for teenagers (ages 13-18 years old), who have received a kidney, liver, heart or intestine transplant and currently receive their transplant care at Children’s Medical Center Dallas.

TCU Family Camp provides families of former patients of the Transitional Care Unit with acquired neurological injury diseases or disorders. Eligible campers are between the ages of 5-12.

Camp Kindred

Camp Kindred is a weekend camp for children that have either a sibling or a parent with cystic fibrosis. Camp Kindred is unique in the cystic fibrosis community in that it is the only camp of its kind anywhere in the world. Campers are able to find kindred spirits in each other, as they have many similar life experiences.

Hands Down Family Camp

Hands Down Family Camp is an opportunity for children with upper limb differences and their families to meet others facing the same challenges. The weekend retreat includes fishing, sports and games, arts and crafts, cooking and a ropes course. Parent sessions are offered to focus on education, support and sharing experiences.

Camp Morning Star provides families with an opportunity to process their experiences with grief, meet families who have experienced loss, and enjoy doing activities as a family.
