Full-Time Facility Positions

Camp John Marc is seeking motivated individuals to join our full-time facility staff who are team players, follow directions, and work independently. These individuals are responsible for assisting in furthering the mission of Camp John Marc at the direction of the Facility Director in a high-quality manner that is in line with the established policies and procedures of camp.  Once your application has been received and reviewed, we will let you know if you have been selected for a phone screening or interview (virtually or in person).

Criteria for Employment:

  • Transportation to/from camp.
  • Be able to safely lift 50 lbs. (with/without reasonable accommodation).
  • Be legally eligible for employment in the US (proof of citizenship/immigration status will be required upon employment).
  • Clear a criminal background check (individuals 18 years old and older).

Seasonal Facility Positions

Camp John Marc is looking for individuals to join our weekend and summer kitchen, facility, and housekeeping staff who are team players, have the ability to work a flexible schedule, follow directions, and work independently. Once your application has been received and reviewed, we will let you know if you have been selected for a phone screening or interview (virtually or in person).

Criteria for Employment:

  • Transportation to/from camp.
  • Be able to safely lift 50 lbs. (with/without reasonable accommodation).
  • Be legally eligible for employment in the US (proof of citizenship/immigration status will be required upon employment).
  • Clear a criminal background check (individuals 18 years old and older).
  • Kitchen Only:
    • Food Handler’s certification; Camp John Marc will help you acquire this certification (if you do not already have it).
    • Cook: be at least 18 years old
    • Dishwasher: be at least 15 years old
  • Housekeeping: be at least 15 years old
  • Facility: be at least 16 years old with a current driver’s license

Summer 2026 Weekdays (May 11-June 31, 2026)

Facility Assistant ($12-14/hour) Responsibilities

  • To maintain an organized and well-run campground.
  • To drive an ATV and run trash for all cabins and common spaces.
  • To assist with day-to-day facility repairs or issues.
  • To work cohesively with other housekeeping and facility staff.

Fall 2026 Weekends (September 11-November 22, 2026) and Spring 2027 Weekends (February 26-May 9, 2027)

Kitchen: Cooks ($18-20/hour) and Dishwashers ($11-12/hour)

Responsibilities:

  • To prepare and manage a healthy meal service.
  • To maintain an organized and clean kitchen.
  • To maintain and use commercial-grade kitchen equipment.
  • To work cohesively with other cooks and dishwashers.

Seasonal Summer Staff

Summer Staff (May 9- July 31, 2026)
– be at least 18 years old.
– be legally eligible for employment in the United States.
– be able to safely lift 50 lbs. (with/without reasonable accommodation).
– complete a comprehensive medical history and required immunization forms. Medical forms provided upon offer of the position.
– have completed one year of college or comparable life experience by the start of the summer 2026.
– submit a criminal background check; provided upon offer of the position.
– commit to working from mid-May through end of June (staff training and 10 weeks of summer camps).

If accepted, summer staff will be subject to a random drug test during the summer season.
