Who Can Attend MDA Camp? Any child with a neuromuscular disease between the ages of 6-17. We accept campers on a first come first serve basis. MDA camp enables campers to stretch their comfort zones and grow in independence as they spend a week away from home; permit someone other than their parents to provide personal care; and make new friends.
Camp Moss exists to improve the quality of life for Texas children with cardiac disease by providing the exciting experience of summer camp in a safe environment with the necessary daily treatment. Campers who attend Camp Moss: -Are developmentally 8-16 years old -Have their medical history reviewed -Have an updated physical and have their cardiologist's approval -Are receiving treatment in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area -Have significant heart disease -Are physically able to participate in camp activities -Are ready to have a week of FUN!
Camp Sanguinity serves patients, ages 6-16 years old, being treated for cancer or a blood disorder at Cook Children's Medical Center, and their siblings. During the camp week, we also hold a one-day Preschool camp for patients and siblings who are 4-5 years old.
Camp Jubilee exists for the sole purpose of making life better for children with sickle cell disease. Our focus is to provide a weeklong summer camp for children with sickle cell disease.
