With Summer just around the corner, here is a brief newsletter to catch you up on some of the happenings of Camp John Marc. Please be in touch with your Camp John Marc Director if you have any questions about the information presented! We are grateful for all the work you do to make Camp happen and we look forward to seeing you in Bosque County sometime soon.

Summer Item Needs We can use your help with collecting a few things for our campers this summer.  If you are able to donate the following items, please bring them to Theme Night Rehearsal, Thursday, May 23rd.

  1. Deoderant
  2. Shampoo
  3. Conditioner

Walking Gates/Parking Lot Gates There are 2 combination locks on the gates to and from the parking lot.  Please let your volunteers and medical staff know about this combination, 1991.

If you are interested in ordering party night shirts, please be sure to have orders with sizes into Kyle Lamb (klamb@campjohnmarc.org) by the dates listed on the side. Size options and prices are listed below. *You can also request the artwork from Kyle and you can use it with your own printer.

SNACKS

Please let your CJM Director know of your decision Option #1 – we would like Frostys on Tuesday (at no cost) from Camp John Marc and we will handle all other snacks. Option #2 – we would like Camp John Marc to handle snacks for the week. Snacks are $2.00 per person (total for the week).

  • Monday – Smartfood White Cheddar Popcorn / Kettle corn
  • Tuesday – Frosty
  • Wednesday – Teddy Grahams / Goldfish
  • Thursday – Frozen Fruit Bars Strawberry or Lime

ARTS & CRAFTS

The structure of Arts and Crafts for your program will  have one of three options:  Please let your CJM Director know of your decision Option #1 – CJM provides the two projects of Magnet Painting and Washer bracelets / Necklaces to be added into your project options at no cost. Option #2 – CJM provides the entire week of projects.  Some examples include Dream catchers, DIY Instant scratch art, Acrylic pouring, etc.” So for example: 40 Scheduled campers that attend twice during the week (40 campers x 2 A&C times attended x $4.00) = $320 60 Free choice campers that attend during the week (60 campers x $4.00) = $240 Total:  $320 + $240 = $560 for the week of Arts and Crafts Option #3 – CJM provides no projects (your camp will provide all projects for the week) Please submit Option #1, #2, or #3 below. These are some of the Crafts that we will have available for campers this Summer. We will also have other supplement crafts out at the Arts & Crafts room. Our Arts and Crafts programming is looking to creating a more creative space for our campers to explore:
