Morning Star is a picturesque, open-air stone chapel. Themes of nature and creation are represented in the hand-carved stain glass, fossil imprints, and creek that flows gently through the space. Because Camp John Marc is an inner faith camp and not affiliated with any specific religious denomination or church, Morning Star Chapel provides a quiet place where campers sit, reflect, worship, and pray. Each week during summer, campers gather in the chapel for a values-based introduction to CJM, and optional chapel services are often held during weekend camps that occur other times of the year.
The Chapel also serves as one of our cookout sites.
