Week-long Volunteer
Job Description
Work on a team of three counselors to provide daily care and supervision to a cabin of seven campers of the same age. Attend daily camp activities with campers. One hour long break is provided each day.
Volunteer Counselors DO
- Have to commit to the entire week of camp
- Participate in training sessions
- Remain camper focused at camp
- Participate in activities with campers
- Have a lot of fun!
Volunteer Counselors DO NOT
- Provide medical care to campers (a full medical team is on the camp site)
- Lead camp activities. A full time Camp John Marc staff is responsible for planning and implementing activities.
- Counselors are not left alone! All counselors are on a team of three counselors and Camp John Marc policy requires at least two counselors to be with campers at all times.
